Profile Band ST 12

ST 12 is a musical homage to the band Malays. ST12 was established in Bandung by Ilham Febry aka Pepep (drums), Dedy Sudrajat aka Pepeng (guitar), Muhammad Charly van Houten aka Charly (vocals), and Iman Rush (guitar).

At first, all four of these personnel did not know each other,although they have long been in the music world. They began toclose after often met in the studio rental at Street Stasiun Timur 12, Bandung, owned by Pepep. They were finally officially established ST12 on January 20, 2005. neme of ST12 which is short of street Station Timur Nomor 12.

Although four different personnel is like music, like jazz Charly,Pepep like jazz and rock, while Pepeng likes rock music, but they compromise to make ST12 malay music.

ST12 released their first album via the independent (indie)because no labels are willing to take them. However, in October 2005, while on tour promoting the album in Semarang, Iman Rushdied from broken blood vessels in the brain.

Although the loss of a personnel, ST12 able to survive and gain success in her first album.

Trinity Optima ST12 Production will begin to look after their debut album, Jalan Terbaik (2005), success. The second album, PUSPA (2008) dedicated to Iman Rush, released under the label Trinity.
