A bit astounding indeed considering most movie critics consider FAST FIVE was nothing more than just movies that are just interested in visuals. Well, in fact that’s what happened. TIME magazine included a film starring Vin Diesel and Paul Walker to power series Top 10 Best Movie this year. Of course this is all there is a reason.
Richard Corliss, TIME magazine film critic for 31 years to call this film not unlike HUGO or THE ARTIST who also get listed in them. What? Yes, Richard Corliss thinks the film is a tribute to the pioneers of stressful dish on the silver screen. Corliss saw there the aroma of THE GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY or KEYSTONE KOPS in the film.
It is only able to penetrate the FAST FIVE in order of lowest but at least it was something very shocking. A portion of the film that is in the Top 10 Best Movie this is indeed a lot of films was praised by critics but FAST FIVE and maybe DETECTIVE DEE AND THE MYSTERY OF THE PHANTOM FLAME which in fact was in the third.
Eight of the remaining film is pretty predictably. THE ARTIST was at the top followed by HUGO. THE TREE OF LIFE was fourth followed by WAR HORSE and SUPER 8. CAVE OF FORGOTTEN DREAMS are at number seven while the RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES and RANGO following later.
